We have 40+ presentations at CPNB 2026 but we're still accepted submissions, especially for poster presentations.

We are delighted to confirm that Caroline De Rouffignac, Policy Lead in Supplied Chain Resilience at the Scotch Whisky Association, will provide an overview to the SWA position on the currently turbulent times with regard the situation for scottish exports and overseas tariffs.

We are delighted to confirm that Professor Pete Smith and Professor Jonathan Jones will provide Keynote talks in the 'Agriculture and the Environment' and 'Potatoes' sessions respectively.

They both bring years of experience in their respective fields and we hope are a real draw to encourage registration for CPNB 2026.

The ACPNB committee are delighted to confirm that the Association of Applied Biologists (AAB) will return to organise CPNB26, following a successful event in 2024.

Furthermore AAB provide £1000 to sponsor the meeting, which will be associated with the offer of free AAB membership for a calendar year. 

Benefits of AAB membership include reduced registration fee for all AAB events (https://www.aab.org.uk/events/), 10% discount in APC charges for Plant Biotechnology journal and eligibility for AAB travel grants.

We are delighted that Professor Mike Rivington from James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen has agreed to provide the opening keynote talk at CPNB24 on 'Climate change impacts on land: a north-south divide'.
